Both the TMJ & Sleep Therapy Centres and the Institute for Advanced TMJ Studies derive from the unrelenting commitment of Dr. Steven Olmos. For more than two decades, his singular pursuit has been to obtain a comprehensive understanding of Temporomandibular Joint Disorders (TMD) with a primary focus on resolving pain and discomfort. The knowledge he has acquired has led to new technologies and non-invasive treatments for TMD. In addition to bringing this accumulated wisdom to his patient practice, Dr. Olmos dedicates considerable time to educating other professionals about his findings and methods so that they, too, can help alleviate the suffering of their patients.

Inspired by the teachings of Dr. Olmos, other doctors have taken their dental treatment to the next level and opened TMJ & Sleep Therapy Centres.  Today there are 3 locations to meet patient needs: La Mesa, California, Monmouth, New Jersey, and London, Ontario, Canada.
